Life Safety Associates provides training for all makes and models of AED's. We have trainers in stock for the LIFEPAK 500®, Philips Forerunner® Lifeline®, Cardiac Science®, Zoll® and FR2® (formerly HeartStream)

Program follows Emergency Medical Service Authority regulations and the American Heart Associations® standards.

This program provides the following training:

One Rescuer CPR

Risk Factors for a Heart Attack
Signals of a Heart Attack
CPR for Bystanders Video
Actions for Survival *
Hands-on Practice with the Newest Mannequins and AED's
Introduction to Automated External Defibrillation
Instructor demonstration of Automated External Defibrillator with scenario of single shock.
Student practice running scenario’s for single shock
Practice and review eight critical scenario’s with students
Practical and Written examination

Program Length

Refresher training is required every two years, 4-hour format

Annual Review Training Is Required, 2-hour format (current California Code of Regulations requirement)
